Houston could be on the verge of making weather history.

According to Houston Chronicle meteorologist Justin Ballard, the city could tie or break high-temperature records over the next several days, with some records dating back more than 100 years. Forecast highs near 102° from Thursday through Saturday could make this the hottest stretch of the summer so far.
