This is a simple, yet super cool and smooth to play level from Edooox, like usual, it is heavily gameplay based as well. As most of you may have seen, I have been SUPER swamped with a lot of things via real life and online (mainly online). With my creator contest being hosted, 2 levels out in a month-ish span, collab part's, being super active on my server etc... It has been a crazy while for me but don't worry, I am staying on the grind for what I want to accomplish!
Anyways talking about the level, as I stated earlier this level is insanely good and gameplay based. When I first played this, on my first attempt I made it to 89% and then came back a while later and decided to complete it. I didn't find any issues at all with the gameplay, so there really isn't much nitpicking for me to do. Most fun part of the level FOR SURE would have to be at 0:52 to the end, the ship just flowed so smoothly and it just worked well with the theme and song too.
The decoration is pretty empty at times, but since the gameplay was so great I feel like it didn't really stand out too much in a bad way, so that's good. Edooox went for a good style for a BoomKitty song, with a tinted orange color with some grey and other smaller colors to go with it. I think this is a really good example of what we (myself) would love to see more of, nice smooth gameplay based levels, with decoration just as good, but to keep improving with both while making the process. If you asked me what my favorite part would be in terms of decoration, it would be the drop to the slow part of the song with the spider gamemode. Those part's were pretty solid to me however, I still do wish there was more decoration throughout the level. Part's towards the end in decoration I feel like are visually lacking in quality compared to the first bit. But yet again keeping in mind, that's just me finding something to improve on for every level.
Overall I would say this is a very solid 9 star level from Edooox, and lately, he has not disappointed. I know you are probably reading this Edooox, I just wanna say you did an amazing job, keep it up. This may not be the greatest level he has ever made, but it sure was a blast to play through(:
