Once Chicago's premier organist and one of my favorite voices of Gospel's Golden Age, the formidably talented Lucy Matthews Collier ("Little Lucy Smith") made her national debut and greatest musical contributions as organist, pianist and vocalist for the legendary Roberta Martin Singers.
