Gold Wings? Red Masks? Listen up.

On January 5th began our mighty squabble
With Trial #1 being "Triforce Trouble"
Every member's hunting down only three Doritos
But with 98 submissions we could fill quite a few bowls

1 in 32, Moblin RNG,
Debating playing Emulator of VC
Getting the Watchtower Skull with only a stick
Poes without Epona, aiming with a flick

We're all doing fine, there was fun to be had
Then Trial #2 comes flying in to drive us all mad

Have you ever played the text adventure "You are Jeff Bezos"?
Victory goes to whoever can pay most
Collecting a singular rupee immediately voids your run
Don't know many people who enjoyed this one

But in the midst of hunting wallets we were given a clue
A poster to follow and a riddle to do
Hiding underground in Death Mountain Trail
Was a spider to be found using bugs as bait

With sigils swapped and claimed, every tribe had three in hand
We're all looking the same, but we couldn't let that stand


And now begins the age
Of the Violet Blades
Say your final prayers
And resign to your fates


In the two weeks before Valentine's Day
Where normal people probably are planning a date
The members of the teams had another challenge to play
With rumors of a kiss between a Mask and a Blade?

Completely made that up. When we started to grind
Suddenly there were a lot of hearts to find
Try to get to 20 in the shortest time
Try because there's plenty of rewards on the line

Previous trials had an even divide,
but eager this time, the Violet Blades swept every prize

Well, there was a little blemish on our perfect record
Meaning in the second puzzle we were ranked third??
It's true that the Blades have a lot of strengths
But Googling games isn't one of them

Moving swiftly onto the start of Trial #4
Collecting maps and compasses at the trial's core
Every key added some to your score, 10 of them each for the dungeon rewards
20 minutes if you wanted some more, that's what the map and the compass are for

The hopes the other teams had for holding the lead
We blew them to bits, we were the first to sigil #6


And now begins the age
Of the Violet Blades

In our hands sigil feast as we climb the throne
We are stacked as a team, with the drive to grow
We have math on our sheets and Python code
How fast can you flee when we find your home?

Wings will cry in pain
And the Masks will find their graves´


High on our win, in the following events
The other tribes started plotting their revenge
Trial #5 all about hunting skulls
Got in our runs feeling wonderful

But when we got the result, couldn't believe our eyes, cuz
We didn't take home nearly any prizes
A desperately needed wake-up call
We can't give it half and still take it all

Wallowing in misery we saw the trial 6 reveal
Dimensional delivery with entrance rando in the seed
To solve a Goron's eye disease, and in the midst of grinding these
We were informed that finally the puzzle count will climb to three

And now that's done it's basically just down to four remaining weeks
And don't think that the claims and steals are something you will take with easy
Cause as promised when we chased the cheese
We'll storm ahead and retake the lead

Beat to the ground by the cursed force
Don't think we are bound for a certain loss
It's not lights out till the curtain falls
When we take the crown you will show remorse
