Title: Tressa, the Merchant
Game: Octopath Traveler
Composer: Yasunori Nishiki
Arrangers: Matthew Doyle and Sami Louguit
Featuring: Ciara Donegan, Matthew Doyle, Erika Holdren, Emily Hossom, Jay Rana, Caroline Tanner
Featured in one of eight expansive stories from the 2018 JRPG Octopath Traveler, Tressa Colzione lives a quiet life stocking the shelves of her family bookstore in the coastal town of Rippletide. That is, until a diary gifted to her by the infamous pirate-turned-merchant, Leon Bastralle, calls her to adventure. Now a traveling merchant herself, Tressa travels across the continent of Orsterra in search of a treasure she can call her own. “Tressa, the Merchant” is Tressa’s musical theme. It features a melodica and a clarinet duet, evoking the dual emotions of excitement for adventure and bittersweet wistfulness for leaving home. Above all, the playfulness of the music represents the naive and pure heart of Tressa Colzione.

Since our establishment in 2005, we have strived to promote video game music as an art form and to continue bringing video game worlds to life through orchestral arrangements - almost all of which are created by our own members.
