Trent is described by the School of Mathematics as a magician – making previously insurmountable or difficult problems disappear in a puff of smoke. With more than 25 testaments to his exceptional service, including expressions like ‘the unsung hero of the School of Mathematical Sciences’ and ‘nothing in the School of Mathematical Sciences would work were it not for Trent’ – Trent and his IT services has improved the working lives of many in the School and beyond.
