So proud of our Presidents Award for Global Learning students! 🌿✨ They just unveiled The Trees Chime In - a stunning multi-sensory installation that invites us to rethink our connection with nature. Using projection mapping, spatial audio, and haptic feedback, visitors interact with a hand-crafted tree that lets them feel the Earth’s heartbeat and plant their own “seed of intention” for a more sustainable future. 🌎💚
This project came to life after 6 inspiring weeks in Japan, where our students collaborated with graduate students and faculty at Keio University’s Graduate School of Media Design (KMD). Inspired by the Japanese philosophy of wabi-sabi, the work beautifully blends art, tech, and empathy to reflect on our changing planet.
A reminder that creativity really can help us imagine - and build - a better world. 🌱✨
