A simple tree shelter in the rain. Some crafting and making a Chili con Carne I dried last year. The Spruce tree worked great. It was pretty windy so had some drops in there but with a good sleeping bag there was no problem. If you find a dense high spruce like that you can stay quite dry. Especially if the rain falls straight from above and not sideways by wind.
