Learning how to stop overeating requires a specialized treatment approach. ERC offers an eating disorder treatment program for higher weight individuals.
Our patients in this program are overweight or obese and may also struggle with bulimia nervosa, binge eating disorder, compulsive overeating, night eating, emotional eating and/or stress eating.
This program offers intensive multidisciplinary treatment for adults and adolescents, including medical, psychiatric, behavioral and nutritional care. Treatment takes place in a compassionate recovery community that understands what you are going through, that looks like you and that supports people of size.

There are many lives and many paths to healing. My family found our path to healing through working with the Eating Recovery Center staff in Denver, Colorado, and the Woodlands, Texas.
My name is Sunnie, and I’m a member of the Recovery Ambassador Council for the Eating Recovery Center and Pathlight.
As I have supported my daughter on her journey to recovery, I have learned that although the pathway may be hard at times, it is made much easier when you surround yourself with good people who are dedicated to helping you on your way.
About Recovery Day:
On Recovery Day we celebrate the hard work of seeking recovery & mental health. Recovery Day’s theme, “Many Lives, Many Paths to Healing” allows each of us to celebrate where we are on our own mental health journey. Some of our paths feel barricaded by trees and roots, while others of us see more clear trail markers to our destination. And yet here we are to celebrate another year. The path of you. The path of me. The courage that it has taken to continue on this journey and those who have supported the path to recovery along the way.
