Treating and feeding bees can be used to help overcome beekeeping challenges.
In this video I share my current method of feeding bees at Aplin Farms where I am trying to grow some late season splits. I also show some mite checks that I performed. The results were not good. One of the colonies had a record number of Varroa mites, a result that I am not proud of. But I got them treated and hope they pull through. I decided to use Apiguard, a Thymol treatment to eradicate the mites. We will see how they do.
