RE: Mountain Climbing. I forgot to mention this. In Italy, after the fairly touristy trip to the top of the mountain, me and bro went off on our own. We were having fun, walking safe. And then the fog.
We thought we'd take a detour. I didn't think I'd be balancing like a circus act over the biggest drop on that day. The path was thin. And the drop was dangerously real. The rocks pointed up and we had to hug the wall at every breath, our brains reminding ourselves of how high we actually were. It was a thin walk. Then we thought it was best to turn back. Ryan and I later discussed what we would have done if one of us had fallen to our deaths.
