In Treasure of the Cutlass Reef you control a pirate ship that sets sail to find a legendary treasure. As captain of the ship, you face off against enemy crews and their prized flagships. You have to outmaneuver and destroy them with your many canons. After each battle you get a chance to upgrade your weapons and ship.
I believe in higher difficulties there are more upgrades than usual to buy. It gets too hard though, so I stuck with the Captain settings.
