Treasure Hunt: The Ride is a pirate-themed, interactive dark ride that transports guests through lavish pirate caverns as they search for gold and treasure and battle pirate ghosts around every corner.
Using onboard interactive “Treasure Collector” devices, guests engage in interactive gameplay and become active participants in the adventure. While defending themselves from the ghost of Captain Bouchard, his skeleton crew and other creatures lurking in the caverns, guests also collect the pirates’ hidden booty, competing for a vast treasure collection of their own. Throughout the journey aboard 4-passenger “Cavern Cars” guests are immersed in a richly themed environment with special effects including sounds, scents, light mist, themed lighting, incredible hand-crafted set pieces and realistic animatronics.
Treasure Hunt: The Ride is currently operating as a stand-alone attraction on historic Cannery Row in Monterey Bay, California. Due to its evergreen pirate theme and family appeal, we believe this interactive dark ride would be successful in any location around the world.
