In this flashback, Naughty by Nature frontman Treach sat down with VladTV and opened up about his close friendship with Tupac Shakur. Treach recalled how Tupac looked out for him while he was in Los Angeles, including a sit-down they had in Compton where they addressed and cleared up issues Treach had with certain individuals on the West Coast.
Tupac later compared the situation to his own experience of being shot in New York, saying he hoped Biggie would look out for him the same way he had looked out for Treach. Treach explained that while Tupac had the street connections and influence to help him in Los Angeles, Biggie didn't necessarily have the same type of street connections in New York to look out for Tupac in the way Shakur believed he could.
