Part 2/3 of Amerath's new journey takes place after Alethrion and Amerath break up in "The First Hero". After Amerath found a broken and hurt Ruden in a mysterious bottle left in her backpack by Alethrion, she decides to help it getting it's strength back. It cannot use it's magical powers before it is healed, which frustrates it since it is send to stop Alethrion's greed. It seems that nobody else than Amerath wants to help it. After Amerath and Rudens stay in Hotek Forest, Ruden gets its powers back. But he decides to stay with Amerath and enjoying life instead of continuing his serious mission. That ends in a disaster when his creator is killed by Alethrion, which ends Ruden's life too since he was an extention of the god's magic. Before he dies, he passes on his magical powers to Amerath as a thanks. With her new magical abilities she sees a vision of Alethrion's dark journey. Amerath has no idea how powerful the gift she just received actually is if used right.
