Welcome to another episode of Game Suite Zone! This time, we'll be dissecting "Traveling the Warp Pipe" from Mario Party, which was composed by Yasunori Mitsuda.
Here are the topics we covered. Subtitles coming soon!
1) Time Signature & Tempo - 0:27
2) Double Bass - 0:38
3) Flutes - 1:56
4) Glockenspiel - 3:12
5) Percussion - 3:52
6) Adding More to the Original - 4:33
7) Mastering & Panning - 5:39
Our Result - 6:21
By the way, here's a poll asking what you think of this series, if you'd like to contribute: strawpoll.me/14164716
Despite this piece being easier to cover, the episode still took quite a while to complete. That makes me doubt that I can ever really make this a weekly thing. I basically did almost nothing but work on this new episode to see if I can get it out in a week, but I missed that deadline a few days ago.
I'll see what else I can do, but I'm not confident that I can produce content at this kind of rate. It's a shame, too, because I don't like keeping the channel without content. The next episode will probably be shorter, but I don't think I can keep working on it like this. The only way to produce more content is to choose shorter/easier pieces to cover, but that's not what I intended this series to be in the first place.
Ah, whatever. We'll see what happens. I hope this video was interesting for you!

Sonic, Knuckles, Cream, and Amy sprites (from thumbnails) were ripped by Dave [Hypero] Edwards, and Chao sprites were ripped by Psychtaygar -- both from The Spriters Resource!

![Starting Anew! - Zelda For Glory! [1]
After hours of lurking around the Zelda boards, Im finally making some sort of progress. Yay.
Ive been getting more hardcore into Zelda practice lately, so I guess Im maining her again, like with Brawl.
So far, Im using DSmash to punish a lot, which I want to avoid. Im trying to use more DTilt/UTilt strings. Ive come up with a lot of cool combos/followups. I just need to get into the habit of using them when I can.
Additionally, I really need to get rid of old For Glory rolling/spotdodging habits. There are always so many moments that I could have done some damage if I just didnt spotdodge every time my attack whiffed. I tend to do that on instinct.
Im also learning a bit more about specific matchups (like Ness, Mario). After looking at Zeldas frame data, I also have a much better idea of what I should and shouldnt be going for. I just need to practice incorporating them into my actual matches, since they seem to go right out the window when I start.
Oh, and Im actually using elevator now. Youre welcome.
