We used to spend our winter holidays abroad, but this year made us change our plans. Follow us on our winter holidays trip from warm Tokyo to snowy Hokkaido! We visited popular spots around Sapporo and Otaru, found hidden gems, tried a variety of local specialty food and pastry.

We are traveling to one of the most beautiful destinations available from Tokyo - Nikko National Park. Nikko is famous for its spectacular temples and shrines, majestic nature and local delicacy called yuba (tofu skin). We visited in late autumn and could catch a glimpse of momiji red leaves.
