Our travel trailer tongue jack broke, but some quick thinking, a few YouTube videos on how to fix a tongue jack and a trip to Auto Zone to buy a new roll pin and we managed to get the travel trailer tongue jack repaired in about an hour.
The reason the tongue jack broke was because it needed lubrication. But rather than removing and lubricating the tongue jack, I decided to treat myself to an new Electric Tongue Jack. I went with the Ulta Fab Ultra 3502 Electric Tongue Jack since it can support the weight of our travel trailer and also features a light just in case we need to hitch up or unhitch in the dark.
The Ulta Fab Ultra 3502 Electric Tongue Jack install was painless. We removed the old tongue jack from the trailer, swapped in the new one and then connected the Ulta Fab Ultra 3502 Electric Tongue Jack to the trailer battery. So far, we've really happy with the upgrade and would highly recommend the Ulta Fab Ultra 3502 Electric Tongue Jack to anyone who has a crank tongue jack on their trailer.
