This video is trash to treasure as I was going to use a stained old white sweatshirt for rags, but decided to try to make it a treasure with an old Dollar Tree plastic skeleton (they had some this year too at Dollar Tree).
Items used:
- Old White Sweatshirt
- 2x Rustoleum Black Gloss Spray Paint
- Plastic (could use cardboard) skeleton body
- Old box or placemats to put under the shirt to prevent bleed-through of paint
NOTE: On the sweatshirt, you do not want it to be too thick or have a high cotton content, or be too dark as spray paint will just soak into the fabric.
Preferably, spray paint outside or in a well-ventilated area.
I washed the sweatshirt 3 times after it dried and used fabric softener to get the paint smell out of the shirt.
I hope you enjoy this and if you would make a version of it would love to see it - you could leave a link in the comments and I would check it out.
Thank you for watching and I love hearing your comments.
