Torches make good glowsticks.
We trapped pigs in a pit and square by square made the hole smaller until they were all jumping around trying to get out. The chickens were hard to get in there because they can fly a tiny bit.
A few pigs were taking damage simply because they were all squashed so closely together, however peaceful mode was on so they didn't die.
Filmed in my Minecraft arena where I go out at night to kick the shit out of mobs. The ground is full of craters like this from creepers detonating on me, then me fixing only the top ground layer.
