You can’t always get what you want. But if you try sometimes, you might find…an opossum! 😝
Last night we trapped in our friends’ neighborhood, but we only caught already sterilized cats…and this cute lil buddy!
Catching wildlife is something that occasionally happens when trapping cats for sterilization. If it happens, don’t worry! Just open the door and set them free. Raccoons, skunks and other wild animals will typically run away quickly, but opossums tend to take a bit to exit the trap, so just leave the door open and give them some space.
Never attempt to touch wildlife. And please, never relocate them! They are just minding their business in the place where they live, and relocation can be very disorienting and distressing for any animal. Just let them go. ❤️
