Here is the first film I made. It was an assignment in film school to create an aural/visual exercise. It had to be shot on one single 100ft roll of 16mm film, it had to be a kind of adaptation from a written source, it had to be set to a completely instrumental song, and it had to be edited entirely in-camera. I used Randall Jarrell's poem "Hope" as my source and the newly rebuilt Bay St. Louis bridge as my subject to illustrate the theme. It is scored to a cut from Kraftwerk's album "Autobahn". The greek intertitles were done out of humor. The film's offical title is "Transportation.
