Access to nature is a human right yet, currently, 100 million people cannot safely walk to a park or green space from their home. By creating and improving public transportation options, we radically increase who can get outside in ways that don't require special income, gear, or a car.

At Sierra Club, our Outdoors for All team is working hard to ensure that everyone has access to the healing power of the outdoors through green spaces and public recreational amenities. This can look like hiking trails, parks, bike trails, ski areas, and lakes, to list a few examples. Just by lowering the barriers of access to the outdoors, you can unlock the potential to really chart their own path into the outdoors.
