The neglected bedroom transformation continues and this time, it finally starts looking like my dream workspace.
We begin by installing a brand-new herringbone floor before planning and building a huge custom L-shaped desk using kitchen base units and marble-effect worktops. I also create a hidden cable-management wall designed to keep the entire setup clean, organized, and virtually cable-free.
There were free cabinets, extremely heavy worktops, unexpected problems, and one slightly questionable spice-rack conversion—but the room has completely changed.
There’s still plenty left to do. In the next episode, we’ll decorate the room, add lighting, and bring the whole workspace to life.
