This is Part 2 of my Under Konstruction van build series. In this episode, I’m continuing work on my Ford Transit and starting the first fix of electrics.
I’ve come to @HytheAutoElectrics to work with Ollie, who specialises in camper conversions, to make sure everything is wired safely and set up for an off-grid system. Together we plan the full electrical layout, route all the cables, and start building the main electrical board that will power the van. It’s one of the most important steps in the whole build and the point where the van starts to feel like a proper camper.
I also install the new floor and prepare the space for what’s coming next — cutting in windows and fitting a new bed system at @CombeValleyCampers
