30 years ago, Optimus Prime led his team of Autobots to Earth to stop Megatron and his Decepticons from robbing it of its resources. After an orbital skirmish that saw both the Ark and the Nemesis take critical damage, the Autobots abandoned their crippled ship, with only Optimus and a handful of the crew remaining aboard. Now, the scattered Autobots must evade human law enforcement, a government agency and the Decepticons as they try to regroup with their comrades at Lake Michigan to begin their mission on Earth…
