Small correction: At 16:00 the correct equation is N1/N2=sqrt(L1/L2)=sqrt(Z1/Z2)
#262 In this video I continue looking at power splitter circuit by analyzing the common implementations built around transformers. These usually come in 2 flavors - 0 degrees and 180 degrees splitters and have the important characteristics of low loss and wide bandwidth. And when designed properly they also present very good isolation in-between the output ports.
