It's April 17th, and as a beekeeper, I'm at Aplin Farms in to show you how I transfer a 5-frame nuc of honey bees into a 10-frame beehive. This is part of our spring beekeeping efforts, following splits made with queen cells four weeks ago. We're checking the honey bees' progress and making adjustments, including splitting bees, to ensure strong colonies for the season.
