Back in 2023 when I was a little foamer, the Sydney bus network was undergoing some massive changes with the end of most Metropolitan bus service contracts. STA had died a year earlier, Forest and Hillsbus had rebranded into CDC, high floor buses were (and still are) rapidly on their way out and operators such as Busabout, Interline and Punchbowl were soon to be history. One of these operators to disappear was my local one since the millennium, that being Transdev NSW, being morphed into U-Go Mobility. This was a prime time to be out taking crap-quality photos, and so of course I and some friends did just that.
We didn't realise it yet but quite a lot of things in this video are now history just two years on. All (but one) of the 510s, the M92, the Metrobus VSTs, a lot of the other unique charter and route buses... as well as the introduction of many former State Transit buses, the 960 and 920, the two funny little training buses and of course the future electric fleet.
First video that I've made using DaVinci Resolve after finally throwing Adobe in the bin. MUCH easier to use!
