Traktor Pro 3 vs. Serato, comparing their audio engines in terms of time-stretching capabilities. Serato has been a long-time winner in this area due to their proprietary Pitch 'n Time time-stretching and key-shifting algorithm that’s at the heart of their audio engine and their special Pitch ‘n Time expansion pack that pushes the boundaries even further. This video provides a comparison of Traktor and Serato audio engines and in my opinion, the results are very similar now that Traktor has an updated audio engine. What's your opinion? I think there's more degradation when slowing down in Traktor, that's the one weak area I notice. But who really needs to slow a track down by 50% of it's intended BPM / tempo speed?
