After a long break of this series, I’m back at it once again with another batch of Trainz with SFX goodness!
Train 1: The old CN S1b #3254 hauls a freight train through yard limits. With the sound of her whistle prior to entering the yard, she was a mighty fine sight for one to behold.

Train 2: Another SP passenger train making up for lost time. After all the steam locomotives were replaced by diesels on the old SP, the 1960s were brutal when it came to passenger trains, which nevr stood a chance against the automobile and airline industries.

Train 3: One of several D&RGW freight trains works its way up the steep grade while sharing trackage rights along the old SP, which was long before the UP owns these tracks.

Train 4: Winter for most of the time can be the most brutal at times, especially on this brutal January morning, former C&O #614T, hauls a loaded coal train along the former C&O trackage, as part of the ACE 3000 project, which was cancelled after the oil prices dropped.
Link: youtu.be/c8X02x0tQXA?si=-a5OOIqlhGbAgMM6
*NOTE 1: I know that the actual sound was recorded years before the ACE 3000 project was even thought of, but since this is already the same locomotive, I just couldn't turn this down.
Note 2: For some reason it’s labeled as “Sierra 34 & 28” which was also labeled on the original album for an even stranger reason.*
Train 5: Bound for Barstow, yet another mixed freight train shakes the ground with the mighty rumble of the diesel engines as they put the hammer down, sounding the horn as it approaches a nearby crossing.
Link: *None yet, but there will be as soon as possible
Train 6: Before the Big Boy 4014 was restored, UP’s Challenger class #3985 speeds through the dry desert landscape of the Mojave Subdivision bound for Los Angeles.
Link: youtu.be/USuqup0e95A?si=Jxo0gsj-Db9Iw2r9
*NOTE: This isn’t the actual recreation of where the 3985 was actually operating. The actual recording took place at Archer Hill, but not in the Mojave Sub. And the containers were not ordered the same way as the actual containers were, and the TTX logo on the well cars (container specified cars) were too modern for them to be from the 90s.*

![[Trainz 2022] My First Video
Okay, so I got some good news and I got some bad news. The bad news is that I am no longer able to log in back to Trainz 2019, because of the problem with my username, which Id rther not discuss it here. However, the good news is that I opened another Trainz account, which my new username is now called WesternSeaside572. I can assure you that I am still the same person, but with a different username.
While at it, I have also been able to buy Trainz 2022 for the first time! I didnt get the platinum version with the Surveyor 2.0 because my iMac might not do so well with the performance. But other than that, I am so proud that I am finally able to make new videos, even with a brand new simulator!
So yeah, goodbye TRS19, and hello TRS22!
BTW, the shot at 2:05 is supposed to be a reference to The Full Bucketniers episode 5 A Different Point Of View, where Connor was supposed to meet up with Larry (whose number was originally 4100) except it takes place elsewhere and the sun is still out. Oh, and Connor has a wrong bell in this scene.
Also, this video is basically a test/railfanning video, except I couldn’t come up with a proper title.
Locomotives and Trains featured:
- SP AC-6 Cab Forward (My personal reskin) - Paulz Trainz.
*Note: The whistle I used here is going to be included in the next whistle pack.*
- Union Pacific freight trains - West From Denver DLC
- Amtrak P42 & Coaches - West From Denver DLC
- SP 4-10-2 - Used to be on Jointed Rail, but later removed. Sorry.
- UP Big Boy No. 4014 - Trainz Forge
- UP Challenger No. 3985 - Trainz Forge
*Note: The whistle I used here is the default whistle which came with the challenger.*
- Fuel tankers - Built In
- SP Coal Train - Built In
- SP GS-4 No. 4449 - Trainz Forge (Except for the baggage car, which that one was a reskin)
- SP MT-3 - Greencoast Studios
*Note: The whistle I used here is also going to be included in the next upcoming whistle pack I am still working on. It will be released soon.*

![[Trainz 2019] Hold Back Tomorrow Music Video
It’s about that time again folks! Yet another music video has been uploaded for your entertainment! In case if anyone doesn’t remember, or if they are still new to my channel, this song was performed by the same person who performed “Run With Us,” from an old animated TV show from the mid 1980s called “The Raccoons.” Not much else to explain here, except I still got other projects to work on, besides school obviously.

Just when I was wrapping this music video up, it was already September 11th, which I was supposed to make a tribute video, or art piece to post in the community tab, but I ran out of time. Most of that time was spent on the music video. Besides, I would take up even more storage anyway.
If anyone asks, I will never change my pfp to Clippy. You’re welcome.
Another update, since I was informed that TRS22 has its texture glitches sorted out, I might be able to return to TRS22 as soon as possible. But for the time being, the videos I will continue to make will be made using TRS19. No questions asked, it’s just how I do things. Thank you for your time once again for reading.
Edit 12/23/25: I have finally switched to Trainz 2022, and in this video I just now noticed that I gave the PM Berkshire the same number as the lead engine at 3:30. Oops.

![[Trainz 2022] The Big Money Music Video
So after my 10k special, I decided to cook up yet another music video. Nothing fancy really, but it’s one of my best videos I like to make to satisfy my followers. Also, this video is uploaded on the same week my brother is getting married! Wish me the best of luck, everybody!
SFX Only Version: https://youtu.be/4pzoDkxtheQ
There are a couple of things I need to point out in this music video, and the first thing is that the IVRR 475 reskin is not the same one I used back when I still had Trainz A New Era. It was pretty easy to reskin this one, and it sorta felt great to work on it again.
The clip from where Strasburg #90 is racing along side Amtrak’s X2000 test train was a brief recreation from that one clip from one of my childhood favorite videos called “Trucks, Tractors, and Trains.” If only there were more videos of this infamous event, we would’ve been able to see much more than what we could on that old fossil.

![[Trainz 2019] Whistle Pack Update (Packs 8 & 15)
So I have realized for all this time like a doofus, that I forgot to include versions 2 & 4 of UP #844’s 2012+ whistle. Yeah I added the “+” to indicate the fact that this whistle has been used on the 844 since 2012. Why I forgot was for one, I am a very busy man in real life and I forget certain things so easily, like making whistles and including in certain packs. Therefore leading me to skip certain versions of said whistles.
Now let me know in the comments that if I either already made these whistles, or if there is anything that you would suggest for me to do in order to fix them. I will be more than willing to oblige with your suggestions. Thank you for reading.
