I chose to use Trainspotting and T2 for the round 2 of ''The Tarot Contest'' hosted by Ollie (strangerpilot). This film series is one of my fav of all time so I always have inspiration to edit it. I didn't used text in my video (I'm not good with text sorry) but I'll try to explain why these films represent for me the ''five of swords'' :

- ''the Five of Swords is a card representing ambition but in the negative sense. Too much ambition without regard to the consequences to yourself or others results ultimately in a situation of loss for everyone'' : That's what happens in the film, Renton took the risk to deceive his friends for his own good. Bad consequences : now one of his old friends wants to kill him and the life of everyone is ruined because of his action.

- ''The Five of Swords can relate to a betrayal or sneak attack by someone you trust and do not suspect as your enemy'' : Mark clearly betrayed all his best friends, obviously they didn't see that coming because they trusted him.

In conclusion this card represents conflict, tension and betrayal : the main subjects of Trainspotting and T2. Also the fact they are all unlucky with womens shows the negativity of this card.

But don't forget guys , first of all Trainspotting and T2 are two beautiful films about friendship *look at the cast omg*.

I recently watched an amazing Nygmobblepot video with this song and I though it was the perfect song to edit these films, this cover is so emotionnal… :')
