A visit to the internationally renown model village called Bekonscot.
Primarily this film shows the Gauge 1 railway but of course there is a lot more to see than just the trains!
Many of the buildings / other exhibits feature such superb attention to detail that if photographed in 'close up' they would appear to be the real thing.
This film was only ever intended to represent an edited highlight of what there is to see - you really do need to go there yourself to appreciate this model village.

Bekonscot is located within easy walking distance of Beaconsfield railway station. Direct trains travel from London's Marylebone station plus other stations on the Chiltern Railways route between London and the West Midlands.
The list of stations includes West Ruislip and South Ruislip London Underground Central line stations, although from these you may need to change trains at Gerrards Cross (this is the route I followed!)
