I was looking for another Train Simulator route which I could make one of these videos about, and I originally looked into the Horseshoe Curve. But reviews were pretty much negative and all the other posts on forums I could find also pretty much dismissed the route as a relic of the past quality of Train Simulator. In the end, I just waited for the Steam Sale to pick it up on the cheap.
But it got me thinking, I still haven’t reviewed the other routes that I already own.
So, the Western Lines of Scotland, also known as the Port Road. A 2013 Train Simulator DLC, running from Carlisle to Stranraer. Pretty neat.

After having roughly 70 hours in Splatoon 3, I have experienced a broken, somewhat unfinished game. I have also experienced some of the funniest situations in videos games this year, so thats a fair trade off. Animation is what I (like to think I) do best, so I went ahead and made a few short Splatoon 3 animated... Er, shorts.

⚠️VOLUME WARNING⚠️
Anyone who has been on the internet for long enough, or basically anyone who is into trains, will only think of one thing when you mention The Polar Express on YouTube. Always having admired the type of videos that the frozen lake scene seems to evoke, as a perfect reflection of the internet in the mid to late 2010s, I decided I wanted to make my own.
Of course, I couldnt just leave it at taking the actual scene from the film and editing that. No, I had to give it a shot at reanimating it, considering it is now possible to have accurate models for both the locomotive and the carriages. In glorious 60 FPS no less!
Now, cards on the table, this video is HEAVILY tracing NIGHT OF ICE by @Vo_Memes , as that video is already an incredible effort into bringing the 2010 era of dank memes into the modern YouTube sphere. Cheers to this creator and their amazing video!
