This film shares the untold story of Fanny, the first self-formed female rock band signed by a major label to release a full LP. The band wrote their own Top 40 hits, and were self-taught musicians who expertly played their own instruments. The film intercuts rare archival footage and revealing celebrity interviews with the compelling present-day reunion of three Fanny bandmembers - lead guitarist June Millington, her sister and bassist Jean Millington, as well as drummer Brie Darling.
