Took the new backpacking video cam for a trail test hike on the Rattlesnake Mountain Trail (this portion of the ridge trail is extremely wind-blown as you can see numerous downed trees). The City of Snoqualmie does an excellent job of maintaining this two year old trail. This is a great quick get-away hiking trail! The scenes for this video are from the section of the Rattlesnake Mountain Trail between Stan's Overlook and Grand Prospect. This hike was an 8.4 mile workout for me. Outdoor conditions for testing the Creative Vado HD Video Cam was rain, through second growth forest. The raw footage video taken by the Vado HD was impressive - it fact it was flawless.
