Tuning my traditional bow has been more challenging than expected. I started with full-length 400 spine arrows but couldn’t get them to tune properly, even with very heavy points. After switching to 500 spine arrows, I still ran into a slightly stiff bareshaft issue, even with light points and full-length shafts. My arrows are sticking out more than 6 inches past the bow, and to shorten them, I’d need 600 or 700 spine arrows—maybe even weaker! They fly fine, but do I really need a perfect tune? #tradarchery #archery
