Train action on the Union Pacific (former D&RG mainline "through the Rockies) at Rollinsville, CO in the late afternoon on March 21st and March 28, 2009. My goal both times was to catch the Ski Train and Amtrak Train 6 (eastbound California Zephyr) plus maybe a freight or two. I totally missed the Zephyr on the 21st and gave up about five minutes too soon on the 28th -- it came roaring by abut 40 minutes late just as I was putting my camera away. Probably would help if I had a scanner like any normal railfan, but I don't.
