Time for Author Medal: 1:10.682
This level isn't easy, even by multilap standards. The author medal feels like it doesn't really give a lot of leeway to me, but maybe I just need to get good at this map. This was a pretty sloppy run to be honest. Personally, I think this is probably the hardest white map to get the medal on.
Guide: Oh boy. The first turn is pretty simple, just stay as close to the inside as possible. Take the next turn in such a way that you don't have to slow down for the dirt. You should be as straight as possible when transitioning to dirt. Try to take the dirt turn and jump at full speed. Stay straight through the grass obstacle. Next is a really hard drift to get right. I usually roughly judge the drift and release on the throttle afterwards if if I need to. For the ending, I do a small jump and slightly airturn to the left, then brake just a little bit to make the turns without slowing down. If you can't get the airturn, just slow down as needed, but if you take it too slow the author will catch up. Be prepared to slow down right before the dirt turn on laps 2 and 3, you'll probably have too much speed for it this time.
