In the tropics, we are tracking Tropical Storm Edouard that is set to make landfall along the Texas/Louisiana coast later today. The current NHC forecast has Edouard strengthening up until landfall and moving onshore as a strong tropical storm, possibly nearing hurricane strength. Once it moves inland, it should weaken pretty quickly with the system becoming a remnant low by Wednesday afternoon.
