The launch was tracked using a Nikon P1000 on a Celestron NexStar mount operated remotely by Reds Rhetoric using UFOTraker. Predictive tracking used data from FlightClub.io. UFOTraker is available for download to all channel members.

The Lucy spacecraft was filmed later that night using an 8" Meade LX200 Classic @ f/6.3 and captured with an SBIG ST-2000XCM binned 2x with an SBIG AO-7 adaptive optics unit running at 10 hz. Additional images were acquired using T21 on the iTelescope.net network.
