9/11 wasn’t the first time terrorists targeted the World Trade Center. On February 26, 1993, terrorists planted a bomb in the North Tower, killing six people and injuring over 1,000. The attack was planned by Ramzi Yousef, who fled shortly after the bombing. In 1995, DSS tracked down Yousef and assisted Pakistan’s Inter-Services Intelligence in arresting Yousef.
