I've really been enjoying playing around with Geometry Nodes. In this video I cover a method which makes use of an Align Rotation to Vector Node (As well as some others) to make tracking a moving object easy and procedural! In my Geometry Node adventures, I have come to the conclusion that I no longer want to place anything manually and this setup is a great start!

Making Kakashi from Naruto in Blender 2.83! In part five we spend literally 15 minutes placing hair tendrils...This easily took 3 hours real time, but nothing but the best for our mans luscious locks. Anime Hair is pretty fun to make.

Blender gives us all sorts of tools that allow us to add addition detail to our models using textures! In this video we cover how to use material shaders to give our textures depth. Whereas, displacement and height maps can be used to adjust the geometry of our objects, Parallax Occlusion mapping can mimic this effect without adding any additional geometry. You can also achieve interesting 3D visual effects by laying multiple flat images onto a single plan using a simple POM setup.
