TPD C.A.R.E.S. CEREMONY 2025
Today, as part of our TPD C.A.R.E.S. grant program, we awarded $45,000 to ten incredible community organizations working to uplift and protect our city.
“These funds will help each organization continue their vital work, improving the lives of those we share this city with. Together, we’re building a safer, stronger, and more connected Tampa,” said Chief Lee Bercaw.
The 2025 TPD C.A.R.E.S. recipients are:

🔹 Junior Achievement of Tampa
🔹 Garland V. Stewart Foundation
🔹 Chandelier Transformation Youth Mentoring
🔹 Sisters Empowering Women
🔹 Community Stepping Stones, Inc.
🔹 Metropolitan Ministries
🔹 TRIBE – Seminole Heights, Inc.
🔹 Learn and Serve Tampa, Inc.
🔹Workforce Development Partners, Corp.
These funds support programs focused on crime prevention, mentorship, mental health, and community engagement as we work hand-in-hand to make Tampa safer, together.
