Useful for TPR no logic. Rng isn't as bad as it looks, it's roughly a 50/50 chance guay goes to right spot. If bad rng, you don't even kill him, so you can keep trying this till you get it.
Is possible without crystal, but much harder. The ground you land on after superjump is slippery for wolf. You have a split second you can turn around and jump to flat ground before sliding off.
