Toyota Highlander reliability problems, a nearly $100,000 Ram street truck and front tow hooks finally arriving on the Toyota Tundra headline this week’s Truck News Recap.
We start with the known problems, recalls and technical service bulletins affecting the 2020-2026 Toyota Highlander. Issues include second-row seats that may not lock properly, ECU-related stalls, transmission whining, harsh shifting, infotainment glitches and unusual hybrid braking behavior.
Next, Ram has announced pricing for its new Rumblebee performance truck lineup. The range starts with a 5.7-liter HEMI V8, adds the Ram 1500’s first available 6.4-liter 392 V8 and tops out with a 777-horsepower Hellcat-powered Rumblebee SRT priced just below the new TRX.
Finally, Toyota has revealed its 2027 TRD Pro updates. The Tundra TRD Pro finally gets front tow hooks, while Toyota also adds adjustable Fox shocks and a new Honeycomb exterior color across much of the TRD Pro lineup.
