filmed 6th of feb 2021, crossing from Kaingahoa marae on the mainland to Urapukapuka island, I tow my Eco Bezhig over behind me, in order to carry all my stuff. the paddle was just under 3KM one way, and I paddled at around 4.5 km/h most of the way across.
the boat was heavily loaded, with a large tent typically used for camping with a vehicle, a Queen size air mattress, and a chilly bin stuffed into the cockpit, and ten days worth of canned food, alcohol, and other luxuries in the other hatches, as well as some other gear from other members of the group.
