Mempool privacy and efficiency plays an important role in avoiding attacks such as front-running, sandwich attack exploding MEV etc. There have been several approaches to overcome such attacks in AMMs like threshold encryption, privacy preserving smart contracts etc. In this talk, we shall show adapting batched threshold encryption explored recently Choudhury et al, and similarity measure proposed in Shyamasundar (2024), it is possible to achieve mempool privacy and hence overcome the attacks mentioned. Using the notion of similarity measure in Shyamasundar(2024), we show that indeed a robust AMM can be built on XRPL using threshold encryption.
