Touring the legendary and amazing Amargosa Opera House with Fred Conboy, caretaker of Marta Becket’s fabulous legacy. Marta was a ballerina who got a flat tire while traveling through Death Valley, and fell in love with an abandoned building across the street from the tire shop…and ended up moving to the desert and dancing ballet in the theater she built for 50 years! It’s one of the most AMAZING places in all of the Mojave Desert…and must be seen to be believed!
