Tourette Syndrome and other Tic Disorders can be associated with chronic pain and impairments in functioning due to pain. Cognitive-Behavioral Strategies for pain can be useful in managing the pain associated with ticcing. In this presentation, Dr. Sarah Love (Pediatric Psychologist) will describe the relationship between chronic pain and tics, explain the role of pain psychology in the management of chronic pain, and provide information on cognitive-behavioral tools and strategies that can be helpful in managing pain associated with Tourette Syndrome and other Tic Disorders.
